Here’s a thought, fellas:

You know, I feel like Fergie doesn’t get enough credit in my opinion. She’s like, a legit musical artist. She’s even got a character arc, for God’s sake. She started out, she was in the Black Eyed Peas, and they were real cool and good! For a while. And then they got real popular (and rightfully so), they got a little more pop-y, mainstream, kind of “sold out”, as the kids say. After that, they lost the limelight, and they basically went their separate ways. Now, Fergie, she’s still got the music in her, despite the fact that she’s aged a bit and is no longer just “The Black-Eyed Peas Fergie”, but now her own musical entity, musical presence. And you can see a bit more of that originality coming out, like when she first got popular. It’s an interesting process, and one we’ve seen before with, like, “classic” music stars(e.g.,The Beatles). It’s like it’s history in the making. We’re in the middle of it all. This is our generation, We Are The People. Fergie is awesome.
